Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) is a trauma intervention to help individuals process traumatic memories and work on decreasing the intensity of their symptoms. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation (eye movements, tapping, etc.) to help individuals keep one foot rooted in the therapy room while also exploring the traumatic memory to help us get “unstuck,” change patterns, and integrate new information to help us reach our goals.

I help adults navigate loneliness, finding community, life transitions, anxiety, trauma and stress throughout adulthood.
Process and cope with change: There’s so much about life that can’t be controlled but we don’t need to go through it alone. I support adults through significant changes such as career transitions, starting a family, ending a relationship, and moving.
Strengthening social bonds: Many people experience loneliness and lack of community in our adult lives, especially after our shared trauma from the global pandemic. I provide support coping with social hardship and finding community in an increasingly isolated world.

I currently serve teenagers (14+) as they navigate the challenges of high school, finding their independence, and transitioning from child to adulthood.
Process and recover from uncertainty, change, and trauma: High school is one of the most significant transition periods in life. I work with teens experiencing anxiety and distress from parental divorce, an upcoming graduation, social anxiety, loss, and other struggles.
Explore identity, values, and goals: Part of being a teenager is becoming your own person and realizing who you are. I partner with teens to better understand who they want to be as they enter adulthood, including grappling with personal identity questions, such as sexuality, gender, spirituality, and independence.
