What is my focus?

With adults my focus is often on navigating loneliness, finding community, managing life transitions, anxiety, trauma and stress throughout adulthood.

Many people experience loneliness and lack of community in our adult lives, especially after our shared trauma from the global pandemic. I provide support coping with social hardship and finding community in an increasingly isolated world.

Navigate Change

Strengthen & Build Community

There’s so much about life that can’t be controlled but we don’t need to go through it alone. I support adults through significant changes such as career transitions, starting a family, ending a relationship, and moving.

Have you ever felt yourself constantly avoiding something? You have the desire or motivation, but you feel stuck in your tracks on where to begin. Do you find yourself constantly thinking about what could go wrong? When dealing with anxiety, individuals often feel on edge and have a hard time managing the overwhelm and fear showing up in these situations. In our work together, we can explore your relationship to anxiety. Together we can better understand the ways it has kept you safe and the ways it has kept you from your goals. We will develop a collaborative plan to take small steps toward your values and the person you want to be.

Manage Anxiety & Avoidance

Often after a trauma we feel stuck. Unsure how to move forward, we can become locked in patterns and behaviors that aren’t working for us. Stepping outside of these patterns often can feel insurmountable. In our work together we can work on changing our relationship to these events, rewrite negative self talk and beliefs, and work on understanding and changing our reactions in the present to help you meet your goals. You deserve more than just surviving through it.
